Posted by Jody on October 8, 2012
This week’s WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge theme is “Happy!”

Darylann (aka: SeaPunk2), Greg, and Mark in Crescent City, California

San Francisco, California

Imperial Beach Pier, California

Sunrise on Sanibel Island, Florida

Angel Wings and Driftwood on the Texas Gulf Coast

My Sweeties! Oona and Liam on the Oregon Coast

Central Oregon Coast

Bandon, Oregon Tidepooling

Coquille River Lighthouse, 1896, Oregon Coast
According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), “It’s hard to imagine, but an astounding 97 percent of the Earth’s water can be found in our oceans. Of the tiny percentage that’s not in the ocean, about two percent is frozen up in glaciers and ice caps. Less than one percent of all the water on Earth is fresh. A tiny fraction of water exists as water vapor in our atmosphere.”
Just add family and friends
for instant “Happy!”
What makes you happy?

Yes I do… when I am in the beach with family and friends it feels so relaxing. Just the thought of dipping my toes into the vast ocean and feeling the sand makes me wanna jump for joy

Niki, I’m so glad you liked them. Beaches and coastlines are always happy subjects. I’m honored by such praise coming from a fine photographer.
