Today’s Special: Penny’s Pics

Posted by Jody on April 4, 2012

“Today’s Special”  by Penny Wood.

I was visiting friends in Bonita Springs, FL and we went fishing in the Gulf Coast. The most interesting and unusual creature swam by. I got as close to it as I could without touching it. The pictures were blurry at best.

I began asking everyone what it is, but nobody knew. I found this forum and emailed pictures seeking information. Jody and Greg Diehl were incredible! They helped me research and discover it is a sea hare. I am very thankful for their diligence and help!  For me this was better than chocolate!!

Wow! If that swam by me, I don’t think I’d be calm enough to take pictures! Thanks for sharing, Penny! 🙂
