Beaches offer a serene mecca for all those beach lovers who find water, sand and sun irresistible. Next time you’re planning a vacation, choose one of these destinations in order to indulge in some beautiful beach activities, bask in the sun, and explore underwater treasures. However, the options at your disposal can vary from one beach to another. Are you planning an international beach vacation this summer? If so, here are the top destinations for you, and what you need to know about them.

1. Mahe Island, Seychelles (Indian Ocean)
Seychelles has some of the most photographed beaches in the world. In contrast to white, sandy beaches, the beaches in Seychelles boast pale pink sands. The sparkling waters with the pink sands as a backdrop offer a fantastic view of the coastline. Furthermore, activities including swimming, water skiing, and snorkeling are easily accessible in the turquoise water of Seychelles.

2. The Republic of Maldives (Indian Ocean)
Whether your dream is to enjoy loads of marine activities or spend days exploring the dry wonders in a beautiful palm-fringed haze, Maldives is the place for you. This pristine Asian island beach destination, with an extensive coastline and myriad of activities, offers a memorable experience to each guest.

Whitehaven Beach is the best beach that Australia has to offer. Located on the famous Whitsunday Island, this sparkling beach boasts pure white sands and reef dunes that are actually formed by the dead coral that came from the Great Barrier Reef. The lush forested areas bordering the beach also offer a number of activities for all guests.

8. Pink Sands Beach, Bahamas
As the name suggests, this uniquely pink beach in the Bahamas is perfect for those who want to enjoy an intimate vacation with their loved ones. Come here for a private getaway and indulge in a serene setting.
